Vietnam Introduces Global E-Visa Access

Starting from August 15th, 2023, individuals from all nations and territories globally can apply for electronic visas (e-visas) to enter Vietnam. These e-visas allow a 90-day stay with multiple entries. Visitors holding e-visas can enter Vietnam through:

  • 13 international airports, including Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), and Da Nang.
  • 16 land border gates, such as Mong Cai (Quang Ninh), Lao Cai, and Moc Bai (Tay Ninh).
  • 13 sea border gates, like Hai Phong, Chan May (Thua Thien Hue), and Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa).

Vietnam’s e-visa, administered by the Vietnam Immigration Department, grants a 90-day validity with multiple entries. This type of visa became available to all countries and territories worldwide from August 15th, 2023.

Travelers can directly apply for e-visas via the Vietnam e-Visa Official Website.
